''More talent for maths than for languages.''
He is “quite technical”, as Chris de Groot describes himself. As a child he dreamed of becoming an architect. He became a logistics employee at World Bearing Trade. But there is nothing wrong with that. And he can express those technical qualities in his spare time by tinkering with his quad and scooters.
“I knew from a young age that I didn’t want to do anything with languages. I found that very difficult at school. I have more math skills. ”
With school to Barcelona
His best holiday so far was when he went to Barcelona with school. We travelled by bus.
In Barcelona we visited Camp Nou, the FC Barcelona stadium and the Sagrada Familia. ”
Start the day with a musical shower
Chris prefers to start the day with music in the shower. “The best way to wake up happy.
The day gets even better if you receive a compliment. Or if something succeeds in one go which I had not expected myself. ”
Let me be 20 years old, forever!
Chris likes his current age very well. He would like to stay 20 forever, he says.
“You’re in the middle of still being a child but also growing up.
What he dislikes about people is “when they don’t give a clear answer. Or if they don’t keep their promises. ”
Nice touring on the quad
When Chris isn’t tinkering at the weekend, he likes to ride his quad. “All day long if possible. I love riding through the whole country. ” My goal for the coming years is to get my motorcycle license. Then the range is even greater.
